"Copied from 2015 before deleting my yelp account: He came out on a Saturday to give a free estimate, which was already pretty great. Then he was nice and knowledgeable and was able to tell us right away what the problem was. He gave an honest opinion about the wisdom of fixing versus replacing (including honest opinion of the particular washer that came with the house, including how long they usually last, how old ours is, how much the repair would be versus how much a new one would cost). He was very understanding that sometimes, people just can't afford a new one even when it would be cheaper in the long run than repairs. Then when we decided replacing was the best bet, he chatted with us for a few minutes, answering our questions about what brands are currently good or should be avoided. We'll definitely call him again when something breaks!"
