"Happy Lunar New Year! Welcoming in the year of the Dragon. My friend Ralph spoke highly of the food he had at this location and since I've never been, so I was intrigued. Earlier last night, we came in fairly late thinking the establishment was opened until 2am. Despite coming in around 10:21pm and finding out they were only opened until 11pm... we were still welcomed in with open arms! In continuation of celebrating my 45th birthday and was hungry for the night, we weren't rushed and our server Shally took care of us for the night by introducing some of her favorite skewers. I ordered the following: Genmaicha Green Tea, Hana Lychee Sake, Butabara skewer (Pork belly) x1, Gyutan skewer (Beef tongue) x2, Momo skewer (chicken thigh) x1, Wagyu Beef skewer (sweet) x1, Unagi skewer (freshwater eel) x2 and last but not least their Tonkotsu Ramen! Their Tonkotsu Ramen was the best, it had a creamy, not salty broth with just the right amount of ramen to soup ratio, I highly recommend it! I was quite surprised at their quality and the price of $15 was absolutely worth it!"
"TLDR: really tasty food but the prices are a bit high, $55-$60 a person for food without alcohol We had a lot of different skewers and some ramen. My favorite were the chicken heart and the beef tongue. But for about $6 per skewer, the price adds up quickly. Service was nice and super friendly, and I like the tables they have which are more traditional Japanese but it is so dark in there I almost hit my face into a glass wall when headed to the bathroom."
"We arrived later in the day with no reservation and they were able to accommodate us. The staff was welcoming and kind and attentive the entire time with excellent attention to detail. Everything was cooked to perfection. It's a great place to try a bunch of different food items. Including exotic meats! Highly recommend the chicken with honey."
"The waitress was courteous, responsive, and attentive to all our requests. The food came relatively quickly and most of them were pretty good. We really liked the spicy pork belly, onigiri and fried squid. A minor complaint is that some of the seasonings were too heavy, making the food a bit salty. Overall, I think the food quality is nice, with good service and atmosphere, I think the price is very reasonable."
"Very nice date night atmosphere! The seats are on the floor, but it dips into the ground so you can sit down without crossing your legs. Yakitori selection was very nice, price is decent. Sounds cocktail is a shareable bottle, which is nice!"
