Chef Chen's Chinese Restaurant

"I had to return back to the restaurant because of an issue that I had with my order. It’s a far drive too. I am not writing my negative review because of that. I was willing to let that go because they said over the phone to just come back and get a new order to make up for it. The issue was that when I returned to the restaurant which was very inconvenient the cashier person was rude and didn’t acknowledge my presence. Not even an apology for the inconvenience. On top of that my tray was left on the counter without a bag for me to pick up. Was going to ask for some extra condiments because they didn’t even put that many in my order to begin with. I was just standing there and the cashier person was ignoring me while on the phone so there was no way to ask. Was the restaurant expecting me to just take the tray without a bag? Had to ask for one and that seemed like it was a lot to ask for. I have been dining here for years under different ownership and even brought them new customers through word of mouth but I won’t be going to this place ever again."

"First time trying this place. The food and service were great. We got the Mongolian Chicken, General Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, and Potstickers. We will definitely be going here again."

"This place used to be so good. Growing up I came a lot until I moved out of state. Today I came back to try some of my favorites. With the new ownership, everything changed. Both the salt and pepper fish and potstickers used to be on the buffet. The potstickers are so bad and salt and pepper fish is now spicy and bland. The potstickers had black char all over them and the box. The potsticker sauce was terrible. I’ve given this place a few more chances since the change in management, but today finalized my decision, I will not return."

"My first time trying this Chinese Restaurant. We dined in. Our waiter's name was Brian. He greeted us with his pleasant smile & great personality. Brian is very personable & professional. He's very good at what he does & it shows. We ordered vegetable egg rolls, bbq pork chow fun, salt & pepper chicken wings, & chicken chow mein.. The food arrived within 10 minutes. The food was hot, fresh, portions were quite large, and it tasted amazing. It was the best Chinese Food I have tasted in a long time. The owner even came out, greeted us and asked how everything tasted. If you're in the mood for Chinese Food, we highly recommend you give this restaurant a try. I'm sure Brian and his Dad would appreciate your support and business. BTW, there were a lot of DASH Door Orders being picked up so take-out is another option. "This place is probably my favorite Chinese in town. I believe they're under new ownership, but the dishes taste fairly similar if not better. I've tried a few different dishes, all of them have been great. They have a special dinner for one which started at $9.25. You pick an entree and pork fried rice, and I think you can upgrade to chow mien for a buck. Service is very friendly, and the serving size is very very large. If you can finish this in one sitting, you need to be very hungry. Also it depends on what you get I suppose. Give them a try, especially if you've been there before in the past and had a bad experience."
