Taqueria California- Windsor

"I come to this place a lot and the last 5 times + it has gotten worse each time food quality and food portions are very poor. And the wait times for the food taking it to go or even eating there is ridiculous. Wa I read reviews looks like they let different cooks in and don’t follow same recipes. People go back to restaurants for the “same” food. Also a lot of mess ups on order and they don’t even make it right and fix what they did wrong when they know my family and friends eat here a lot. We will definitely not be coming back!"

"There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in the area. They're all pretty good with similar offerings. We appreciate the proximity of Taqueria California to our home. Close and convenient. The food is good, the service is excellent, and it's affordable. No one in the family ever turns down take-out from Taqueria California."

"The food here is excellent. We all ate burritos. I will emphasize that they were all good. The reason for the mediocre rating is that the service was bad. Would pay at the counter for food. This is fine if the person taking the order cares. Our order taker clearly did not care. Food is delivered ( in our case, after a 30 minute wait) by a robot. This is cute but I would rather have my food quickly. With so many similar restaurants in this area, we will likely not return."

"I'm from So Cal and have had a hard time finding a legitimate Mexican food spot. Hands down this is the most authentic and delicious place in area. Annie the owner and her staff go above and beyond for the customers and that's why I drive the extra 7 miles to get the best Mexican food around. Thank you Annie and staff for making me feel at home!"
