"We felt that this restaurant was overpriced and underwhelming. My GF and I split a spinach scramble and orange juice, and the bill came out to $30 after tip! We noticed a vague $2 additional charge, and when we asked what it was for, we were told it was to split our order into two. By comparison, we had ramen in SF a few hours later and paid about $37 after tip for TWO orders. Overall okay, but there are much better places to enjoy breakfast. In our opinion, Bay Leaf Cafe is not worth the prices they are asking."
"Great breakfast spot! Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was delicious, the hash browns were tasty, and portions were great. The hot chocolate was also really good! Service we friendly and fast. I would definitely recommend it!"
"Good locally-owned low-key yummy breakfast brunch comfort food place. Has something for everyone - including kids menu which your little ones can later color while you can eat in peace! Portions are HUGE. Service is friendly and Bay Leaf has high chairs!"
