Uncertain if it leaned towards a bakery or a casual dining spot, we decided to take the plunge, and boy, are we glad we did! Pascaline proved to be an enchanting surprise, boasting an atmosphere that effortlessly marries elegance with comfort. Its interpretation of French cuisine is nothing short of refreshing, offering a palate-pleasing experience that doesn't break the bank, all while being attended to by a staff who excel in the art of hospitality. The wine selection, a harmonious blend of uniqueness and affordability, led me to discover my newfound love, a Chardonnay that danced delightfully on my taste buds. Chef Didier, a maestro in the kitchen, radiates passion for his craft and demonstrates unwavering loyalty to both his team and patrons. His personal touch, evident from the warm greeting to the meticulous check-ins on our dining satisfaction, elevated our dining experience to new heights. Opting for the 'Farrosotto' with kale and baby mushrooms, I was treated to a lighter, healthier rendition of risotto that didn't compromise on taste, thanks to Chef Didier's masterful touch. Meanwhile, my partner savored every bite of his impeccably cooked skirt steak, accompanied by grilled vegetables and chimichurri sauce, a testament to the chef's skill in balancing flavors and textures. Each dish presented itself as a work of art, not only pleasing to the palate but also to the eye, showcasing Chef Didier's dedication to culinary excellence. Despite initially doubting our capacity for dessert, we couldn't resist indulging, and oh, how grateful we are! The Mango tapioca pudding, served in an elegant martini glass, was a burst of tropical delight, while the passionfruit cheesecake, almost too beautiful to devour, left us in awe of its exquisite taste. Completing our sweet indulgence with a glass of Sauternes wine, we departed Pascaline with hearts full of anticipation, already planning our next visit with friends and family. I, for one, am eagerly anticipating the prospect of exploring their breakfast and lunch offerings.
