"I wanted to love this place, I wanted to give it 5 stars but I just can't be dishonest. The owner is a nice guy but the food falls short of my expectations. Not enough toppings but lots of good Japanese style short grain rice. The beef teriyaki was good but just one skewer and the teriyaki sauce was watery. The chicken satay was super tiny pieces. Maybe offer two skewers per meal of medium sized meat pieces. The pork buns are good but not made in-house. Loved the eggplant, tofu and potato dish but yet again, not enough topping to rice ratio and could have used more eggplant. Cash only."

"Rice based simple menu but bursting with flavor. Accommodating to most dietary restrictions. A wonderful lunch spot, nestled just off the main part of downtown. It’s all to-go and cash only, but easy to order at the window with fast service."

"Amazing food. Bao are soft and fluffy and the pork filling is very flavorful. Bento is good and portions are generous. Great spot for a quick snack or lunch. No indoor seating and cash only."

"Oh my goodness this place is YUMMY!! I ate it so quick I forgot to take a before picture! They make an amazing peanut sauce and pour it over a couple cups of white or brown rice and a few skewers of chicken! They also have steak too!! All for under $7! It’s a bit hidden but if you want the best bento in Ashland then you’ll find this place worth it!! PS: I went back a few days after this and finally got a before picture! Just look at how great this looks!"
