"Hello! So I would like say that my experience here was great! The server was SO NICE and friendly! Out of the food, what stood out the most was the focaccia with pesto!! OH MY!! PERFECT! 100% RECOMMEND! The shrimp pasta was DELISH! A bit on the spicy side (I am from New Mexico, so I know spicy!) it did need a little bit of salt though! But the lobster flavor was THERE! And the shrimp?! HUGE!! The pepperoni pizza was also very good! And they were not stingy with the pepperoni! The porcini Ravioli was also very good, although the sauce gets a bit cloying after 3-4 raviolis! And last but not least, the Italian sodas were YUMMY! But closer to la croix rather than a sweeter drink! And BROOKE was an amazing hostess! A great person to talk to and very helpful!"

"Let me start by noting that this is primarily a review of the pizza at Pie & Vine and I'm fairly particular in that regard. I'm a pizza guy so I'm always on the hunt for amazing pizza. Overall Pie & Vine is a beautiful space with lovely people and great service! The pizza has great potential, but to get there it needs some work or at least the pie I had does. For me pizza is ALL about the crust! It's obviously more than that, but if you can't knock the crust out of the park, you'll never have a winner!! In this case the crust was decent, but because of how it was pressed it out and buried it in toppings it did not let it shine. There were so many toppings that the crust was challenged to hold it up. Some folks appreciate this, but to me an over packed the crust ultimately diminishes the pie. Had they backed down a bit on the toppings and left a bit more edge when pressing it out, it would have gotten a much higher rating from me. Getting the ratios right is important to me and if the pie is filled up with toppings it will never let the crust shine and since the Crust is King in my book, it takes away from the product. Some people like tons of toppings thinking that that's a good value, but truly if you get the ratios correct the pie will taste better, it could have a better financial return and the cost can be controlled for the consumer. The ingredients in the crust are the cheapest, so if you get that right you can keep your cost of goods down and everyone wins. So if Pie & Vine takes this to heart they might find it helpful to all parties. I'm not trying to be critical, but to suggest, at least for me, how to make something I would appreciate more, it might bring a better return and help you control your costs. "Delicious Tonno salad- medium rare ahi. Could use an additional host or server, but overall relaxed atmosphere and nice people. Clean restrooms a bonus."

"I recently ate here with my family for the third time and it was so delicious, as always! We'll start with the parking which unfortunately, is usually stressful because often there is only street parking available. Once you enter the restaurant you are immediately enveloped with sensational aromas and a cozy, romantic ambiance. Not a bad seat in the house! The staff is usually very kind and accommodating, but during the busy hours, it may take longer for water refills... As an appetizer we ordered the bruschetta with burrata. And trust me... pay the extra $5 to add the burrata. You will not be disappointed! This is some of the best bruschetta. It's fresh and decadent. I come from an Italian family, so you can trust me. I also ordered the Pasta Mare for my main entree. This dish was so rich, creamy, and fresh. It lasted me two meals because the portion sizes are hearty, which I appreciate. Others at the table ordered pizzas which were also just as amazing. I will say, I am always slightly disappointed they only have beer & wine because I love ordering fancy cocktails at nice restaurants. Regardless, they obviously have an amazing wine selection considering its location. I highly recommend this place!"
