Emissions Testing Center

"Always full and slow , makes the city and county look bad ! They should have stopped this now, not next year !! But if the city and county like showing it’s Residence how much they care , your doing a fine job !! Close this place !!! Like yesterday ! Third day trying to get my Emissions done p.s just look on Google now it’s 12:05 and it shows closed now 12:27 they trying to say they are closed ! If the city puts up with this we need to vote differently!! close them down , send us to other locations at least the city doesn’t look Incompetent"

"You could look at this place as a pain or just be thankful for something being available in Mt.Juliet Providence area. Yes, the lines are long at times - infact I had to return couple of times after seeing # of cars. Any given time, guess there are atleast 8 to 10 vehicles in line. Reason being short hours and just one testing station on-site. 7:30 to 1 is the operating hours. They do accept both cash and card payment. Actual testing time is no more than 2-3 minutes. Would recommend going between 10 and 11 for short line or wait time. Hope, they either stretch the operating hours or add additional test stations."

"At testing center for hour waiting for my turn. 12:45pm worker closes with fifteen cars waiting. I was number three. Worker says he "wants to go home And that no wants this job so he does not care about closing before time". Call OPUS offices they stated that workers can close early so that they will be able to leave by 2:00pm. Thank for the hard work guys."

"Terrible. Terrible.. the line is very long. Two vans standing, but only one is working. The other worker is just standing there, not working. The wait was over an hour. Needs some accountability.. even if both vans work, it is pointless to have them in this position. They need to be side by side to be more efficient. Ridiculous place to go. Never again."

"I arrived at the testing station at 8: 25 a.m. there was a line of cars and I was told they were experiencing mechanical problems with the vehicle that they conduct a test out of. I was told I could either wait for an unknown amount of time or go to the testing station in Hermitage, which she didn't know the location of that testing station. I told the lady I don't mind waiting, she replied "I don't mind waiting either." Massive delays and "technical issues" seem to be a systemic problem with this testing station. Are these folks being paid $15 an hour to work these stations?? This is a massive waste of taxpayer dollars to run these stations, not to mention the waste of time and money the citizens that have to come and do these emission tests are spending on these tests."
