"I recently moved to the area and was in search of a new lash girl and tried out eye candy lash studio after seeing positive reviews online. I feel misled. Just because someone has positive reviews does not mean they are applying extensions properly to avoid lash damage. I have had my eyelashes done every two weeks for two years so I am very familiar with them. Lisa was extremely nice and the studio was clean. I got compliments on the look of my lashes after the full set was put on, however, I immediately noticed the poor quality of the application. There were clumps of lashes applied. Multiple natural lashes attached to just one extension which is extremely bad/damaging to natural lashes and as the lash grows out will cause the natural lashes to be pulled and fall out with the extension. The glue was clearly very cheap glue and was way overused with clumps of glue that stuck around my lash line causing irritation and pain around my eyes. I flew back to my hometown for a visit and made sure to schedule with my lash girl that had done them for years to have what was done removed. What should have taken 5 minutes to remove took a whole hour. If you care about the quality of application I do not recommend this studio. Lash extension appointments should take time and careful application on each individual lash using as minimal of glue as possible. My appointment with Lisa took barely an hour for a full set and typically that should be two hours at least for a full set when it is not rushed and properly being applied. I don’t even think she used tweezers to isolate my lashes she used her finger and clumped them on. Again, just because something appears pretty does not mean they are being done correctly and in a way to prevent damage to existing lashes."
