"So we been eating here for the past two years or so. In the beginning the tamales sucked. The chips sucked. But over the years it got better and better. Tonight I took my family and everything was amazing. Beyond amazing. Like Chicago authentic Mexican food amazing. The tamales were jucy and the carne asada tacos were amazing. We love Mexican food and it's always been a choice of the best worst Mexican food in the area. But tonight whoever the cook was they need to pay them a whole lot more money because we are already planning for another meal there tomorrow."

"Some of the best Mexican food I've had. I had chicken fajitas and they were absolutely delicious. My girlfriend had Pollo Loco and she loved it. We also had the cheese dip and probably the best pico de gallo I've ever had. I could have made a meal off the picc itself....Stop by, you won't be disappointed"

"We are at El Machete for lunch today and it was great. The service was friendly, salsa was good, and the food ended up being very good. The prices weren’t too bad for it being a “touristy” area. The portion sizes were big and we ended up with leftovers. I’d definitely eat here again when we find ourselves back in Sevierville."

"I ordered veggie fajitas, and my sister ordered chicken fajita nachos. They brought out a complementary basket of chips and salsa. The salsa was very good. Both dishes were good, portions generous, service friendly, and prices very inexpensive. The dining room and restroom were clean, and the place had a pleasant, casual atmosphere."
