"This place is a MUST! We are foodies and were very impressed with the food here. We kept coming back during our stay and will be dreaming of the delicious meals we had! We tried nearly every breakfast item it was all amazing! But our favorite was lunch. We had the Smoky Gouda chicken sandwich, Fried Shrimp, Chili, kids peanut butter jelly. The fried green tomatoes were the best ive ever had and always try them at every place. They even beat my mom's recipe which is really something. Everyone said each item was the best they ever had! Highly recommend! Service was wonderful too!"

"A great place to eat while in the smoky mountains. This small cafe offers big flavors with their delicious homemade meals. While you can’t go wrong with one of the sandwiches they have the best chicken and waffles. Ask for some extra honey sauce for them and you won’t be disappointed."

"We arrived at 9am when they opened on a Sunday and had no wait. The service was great. We had chicken and waffles, Belgian sugar pearl waffles with eggs and hashbrown casserole, and Tennessee Biscuits and gravy meal. The food was delicious! I will say the waffles are SO SUGARY. If we go back, I'll probably order their eggs, hashbrown casserole, bacon and bread instead of the sugar waffles. My dad really enjoyed the Biscuits and gravy meal. Highly recommend for breakfast!"

"Absolutely delicious breakfast. I had the pork tenderloin biscuit and loved it. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and really enjoyed his meal. We sat outside on a beautiful fall day and it was very special. We will definitely return to try some of the other tasty sounding items on the menu."

"We make it a point to drive 7 hours and elvira's is our first stop. They always have fresh food, atmosphere is wonderful and service is always top notch. I would recommend this place for anyone to stop by, i really enjoy this place."
