Toro

"Absolutely delightful. Service was prompt and attentive, atmosphere was upscale while still feeling like a place you can be comfortable in a hoodie and jeans. The meal was simply perfect. The asparagus ($7) pairs well with the cheese and red sauce; the kitchen crew clearly knows how to handle their ingredients as it was toothsome and tender. The nachos ($10) were loaded with goodies, a worthy addition to any meal. In entrees, the pork belly pasta ($18) was amazing, moreish in the extreme, while the brisket burrito ($17) had a great depth of flavor. It didn't go overkill on the heat (hatch peppers being just enough), and the meat. Ye gads, the meat. At times it felt like the burrito was just a slab of perfectly cooked brisket atop burrito fixings. It is, and I say this admiringly, RIDICULOUSLY MEATY and satisfying. I could only finish half. If you put two onto one plate you'd have a Man vs Food challenge. It is not one meal, it is two that happen to come on one plate. 10/10, no notes, highly recommended."

"Excellent menu, ambience, and drink selection. With a wide set of menu options, Toro immerses you in an America-Spain fusion moment. The decor tastefully brings you into this mindset. "Two friends and I visited Toro recently. It was my second time. The first time I ordered the Santa Fe salad, and it was excellent. This time I ordered the Toro salad and added grilled chicken. Outstanding! The waiter was friendly, personable, and attentive. The food was brought out in a timely manner. My only complaint was the temperature. It was like stepping into a deep freezer, goosebumps on top of goosebumps and chattering teeth cold One friend went to her car and got a jacket for me. When I mentioned it, the waiter agitated the thermostat, and by the time we left, I had begun to thaw. All that to say, be prepared for amazing food, and don't forget to take a jacket."

"Excellent food. It's probably one of the top dining experiences in BG . Unfortunately, our server was not attentive, but all other aspects of our visit were great. I had the brunch brisket with potatoes and eggs. This dish is packed with tender brisket cuts and flavor galore. He got a burger and was more than impressed. We will be back!!"
