"I'm a Franklin native and have shopped at this store for a long long time. Great things to buy, however, I just can't stay silent about the owner's behavior anymore. In the past it's been her openly accosting teenage employees, but the past few times it's been something blatantly ugly about customers after they left. Today, two people in a row came in (of a different race) with their clothes in trashbags. She did kindly explain why they wouldn't take clothes in bags, but then back handed it with "most people have a laundry basket, so it's not that hard". After the second customer left, she asked an employee to call the Antioch store to see if they do buys on Sundays, after confirming tshe said "yep... That's why..... I asked them to quit that shananagins a long time ago. We get the overflow and we have to deal with them instead" ...they continued to chat about it but just couldn't listen anymore. I'll be taking my money tand recommendations to akid to kid from here on our and should have a long time ago."
"I dread shopping here. The staff is always frantic, inpatient, and impolite. The clothes are mediocre when it comes to wear. I'm always surprised by what they'll put out. They also don't thoroughly explain the buying process. The racks are all too close together and crowded which makes it hard to shop. The organization is also bizarre. I found 12 month girls clothes in 3 o4 4 different places, even though they were the same types of clothes: pants, pjs, tops, and coats. At the end of the day, I prefer to donate my clothes and shop elsewhere."
"I was disappointed to find out that the coupons I receive via text from my old store do not carry over to other stores. My birthday discount was not good. The lady did however view my coupon and give me half of the coupon value. That made me happier. I appreciate that. The store is a bit small compared to the stores in NY. I will shop here again because she was wonderful!"
"Sold a bin of clothes and toys yesterday and was impressed with the check in/out process and the friendliness of the staff member who helped me. They took most of my items. Honestly, they don't pay that much, but I mostly wanted my items to get in other parents hands and score maybe $20. They paid me $33 and I found a Hanna Andersson toddler jacket for only $8! Some items are quite overpriced (Garanimals, Cat & Jack, Old Navy, like $2.50 for an item that's $4 brand new), but every time I go I usually find a higher end item for less than $9. It just takes a lot of time to search through the clothes and inspect each item. Overall, I'd recommend both buying and selling but allow extra time for both!"
"I gave some item to the store and could not go to store to collect cash on the day I said I will go. Store employee decided to go for store credit despite that I told her that I will prefer cash. Now, next day when I am at store, store employees can’t give me store credit and ask me to trust them that their “system” knows that I have store credit. Store does not have a way to convert store credit to cash. Per employee store is “paperless” so they don’t keep any receipts of store credit and since it’s paperless they don’t send email - if this makes sense then please enlighten me but this blows my mind. All I get at the end is a hand written note that I have $xx as store credit despite of saying that I prefer cash. ==== commenting further on store response==== Store owner comment is factually incorrect. I received 1 call on 08/28 3:09 pm and I said that I will come at 4 pm but something came up from office and couldn’t go. I can to store on 08/29 and you made the decision to give me store credit. You never told me on 08/28th that if I don’t show up then you will give store credit. Please state facts correctly."
