"I really enjoyed my FIRST visit to the Tin Roof. The live music was fantastic and we really enjoyed Wesley Walker. So much so that we decided to go back the next night to enjoy the music again. This was when my SECOND visit was not pleasant. I had forgotten my ID in another purse but wasn’t really concerned because I was not asked for ID the night before plus I am 57 and haven’t been carded in over 30 years. I was with a group of about 20 people and few where asked for ID but not all. I was asked to show ID. I explained I didn’t have it and security refused to let me in but one security guy said he would let me in for a $20 fee. (There was no cover charge) In case anyone was wondering if I was drunk and a nuisance, I had not had anything to drink and did not make a scene. My husband and I politely walked off after telling security that I wasn’t going to pay someone a bribe to let me in. All this to say….they get a one star review due to their security asking for bribes so they could line their pockets."
"It was a good night. John was bartending that night, and I'm sorry I forgot the band's name, but it was so nice to get to listen to some live music while I was in town. I loved the area and the vibe, definitely coming back to visit next year."

"v Most of the people we saw working there looked as though they could care less and acted the same way. They did not have any servers so the person running the bar was attempting to do both jobs. The musician they had in there was good and enjoyable. My drink was good but, my wife's margarita was not at all. The food we had there was only fair."
