"The Walgreens pharmacy at 5006 North Broadway Knoxville TN 37918 in "Fountain City" is one of the worst Walgreens pharmacy besides the Walgreens across from the courthouse in sevierville TN 37862!! They have some kind of scam going on there and tell you your insurance is delayed or not approving medications that my insurance company says they never ran it through so they can charge you cash. I've called corporate several times already because on certain medications, they will tell me ( on the day there do to be filled) that I have to call first thing in morning..so I do around 8 am..then they will send me texts that my prescriptions have been delayed do to insurance and I call insurance company ( United healthcare duel complete) and find out they lying .So three to four hours they make you wait. Back on the 14th of February this happened.. when I got there after my doctor all my other prescriptions was ready except one and they tell me it's not scheduled to be released until a certain time???( IT'S DO)They always tell me it's not ready and have a seat. So I waited until after 11 am and they called me up and I had to wait on about 8 people ( I'm 100% disabled) with curvature of spine or scoliosis, getting ready for back and neck surgery on a cane waiting on electric wheelchair, I have arthritis, fibromyalgia, sciatica, herniated disc's in entire neck, cervical, thoracic and lumbar, chronic pancreatitis, diverticulitis, anxiety disorder, PTSD and several other severe medical problems and I believe they do it out of spite because I called corporate office on them!! When I get to counter she has to reach to bottom of basket to get my prescription that was filled at 9:40 am. So why am I waiting hours and standing in a line I already stood in when it was ready hours before?? A few weeks before they told me they was completely out of my medication until my doctor called and they miraculously had it..and told my mother they didn't have her meds until she called Lilly, the manufacturer and guess what, they called her 5 minutes later and had it.. that's because they want to keep all the expensive medicine for the people who pay Cash and they will lie and tell you your insurance doesn't cover when it does so call your insurance if you have this problem and if they are doing anything like this to you, don't hesitate to call corporate headquarters and make a case!! Also, if you're diabetic and need insulin I'm going to tell you a secret...if they are changing you cash and it's a lot go to Walmart and you can get the viles OTC just remember the needles measures different and a vile costs $25.. ask them to run a discount card because they won't offer too and it can save you a lot at Walgreens. Other pharmacies offer emergency prescriptions in everything ( usually 2 days) not here.. some doctors use the 28 day rule so instead of a 30 day prescription they give you 28 days so you can get a day to 2 days early on anything but not here, you won't get it a half hour early.. OH, and you know the app where you can set up your pickup time for day it's do, not here unless you paying cash..they seem nice but are not!! DON'T GO TO THIS PHARMACY UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO.. THERE ARE OTHER PHARMACIES!! JUST WARNING YOU!! ⚠️.. DON'T GO HERE. AND CALL YOUR INSURANCE IF THEY TELL YOU IT'S DELAYED BECAUSE OF INSURANCE, THEY LYING TO YOU!! THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THE DISABLED!! IM A CHRISTIAN MAN AND IM SORRY LORD!! THEY TREAT ME LIKE SH*T..."

"Yes I'm not the person in my name is Holly Womack I want to say that the pharmacy mainly the women don't need to be working with the public they are all rude and act like they are better than everyone else they don't do their job they are not Drs they put pills in a bottle and they treat you like there is something wrong with you my doctor office has had to call several times because they said they didn't receive a fax and they lied also to my doctor office saying they would have my prescription ready this is something that's happened 4 months in a row I am turning it in to the bbb and to the state board of pharmacy and I will pray for them"

"I live in the area and unfortunately have to deal with this Walgreens quite often. There is never more than 2 cashiers (while 3 people are stocking shelves all the while there is a line with 20 people wrapping around the grocery section) I always spend 2 minutes shopping and 20 minutes standing in line"

"Pretty dang solid. Nothing too complain about. I really love the Kroger section, I've never seen that in a Walgreens--super cool! Employees were pretty chill. This will definitely be my go-to drug store."
