"Biggest baked potato I’ve ever had, perfect pork & turkey bbq, best fried cornbread anywhere, good portions. Green beans would be better with seasoning."
"Even though I’m not in Memphis today. I heard the air raid siren go off at 12:00 noon and knew it was time to eat bbq. My partner said I was hearing things but here we are. A pulled pork BBQ sandwich (w/o slaw) and some potato salad. Followed that with their version of Piggy Puddin, se close up photo on that. Multiple layers of yummmm. Great service by Kaylee. Will be back here as the bbq only seems to be a small part of the menu. Much more to try."
"We visited at 7:00pm on a Thursday night. The restaurant was clean and well kept. The atmosphere was homey, and our server was polite and attentive. We ordered the fried pickles, giant stuffed potato, the chicken and waffle biscuit, and the two meet combo. The potato was perfectly cooked and thoroughly enjoyed. The fried chicken tenders on waffle batter biscuits were served hot and tasty. It is served with a spicy honey which I requested on the side. It had a well balanced flavor as the spice did not over power the honey flavor. The two combo (pork and brisket) was a little bit of a disappointment as the meat wasn’t flavorful or fresh. (We noticed no smoker smell on the property. Not sure how the meat was cooked. ) The home fries and fried okra sides ordered were not special. The okra was very greasy. The house sauces were vinegar based and we recommend the spicy."
"Good food, large portions, good price. Very clean and nicely decorated. Our waitress was a sweetheart. This place feels very down home."
"The drive thru was convenient but also not really because it was confusing. I wish the drive thru lady would’ve told me where to go. I sprung for the brisket nachos and they really were disappointing. The brisket was very dry and chunky and not distributed at all. The pickle chips were also just fried low quality dill chips, soggy and salty"
