El Cantarito Mexican Restaurant

"We went to El Cantarito Mexican Restaurant, Harriman, TN on Saturday night. We were hoping to go earlier but it was not in the cards for us. My Girlfriend ordered the Ground Beef Chimichangas and I ordered the Pollo Primavera Full Shrimp. My Girlfriend got a Virgin Pina Coloda & Water to drink whereas I ordered a Sweet Tea. The Drinks came almost immediately after order and the food was shortly there-after. Literally 5 minutes after we ordered the food, the food was at our Table. I am on a High Protein Diet and they were able to accommodate for my needs. The food was most excellent and the service was exceptional as well. Their store is clean, plenty of parking including Handicap spaces, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are friendly & helpful. In Addition to my review. I cannot figure this out but my faith in humanity was renewed that this restaurant. Let me explain; After we finished our meal, my Girlfriend ordered addition food to take home to the kids. When the nice lady brought the food all bagged up to the Table, she brought the check for the additional food. I asked her for the check for our meal, she said that someone anonymously paid for our dinner. She said that there was not check for our meal. I was shocked but thankful as well. To the Patron who covered our Meal, I want to thank you for it. I will give back as well to the next person so that kindness that you showed to us is shared with others."

"If you are in Harriman TN best place to eat especially on Sundays they have half priced drinks all day,fast and friendly. I've been there quite a few times and never disappointed."

"First time dining here as we were passing through. We seated ourselves as directed. They offer a very extensive menu. A nice large basket of chips and ample bottle of salsa was served with individual dipping bowls. I ordered my favorite Mexican dish, taco salad. I chose the grilled chicken for my salad. The salad was large and beautiful when it arrived. I think warmed cheese must have been used as a topping on the salad. As soon as I began eating it, the salad came apart with a lot of liquid running out of the shell. It made the whole taco salad too wet. There were more veggies - peppers and onions - than chicken. Their service was great and very reasonable prices. I would go again and request the liquid cheese not be used on my salad."

"One of the best Mexican restaurants that I have had. We were traveling in the area and was little weary about Mexican in a town we didn’t know. But we loved it. I would definitely stop her again when in the area. Food and service was excellent."
