"The experience I had with the Chapman Highway advanced auto parts, was probably one of the worst I’ve had thus far. I purchased a part Tuesday and to be specific it was a tensioner for my truck I took the part home and I put it on and after I put it on I started the truck and it idle for about five minutes and I noticed that something was not right and come to find out that it was the wrong tensioner, and it may have been defective as well but I had no choice and did not have time to return it that day so I went to O’Reillys and bought a new tensioner that looked completely different from the one that advanced the auto parts sold me I put the one from O’Reillys on my truck and it did great, but I had to go to Nashville for my son surgery, I got back yesterday and this morning I called them and explained the situation and they said I could return it so I had my wife take it there because we were going to be on two different parts of town at that time but when she got there. The manager lady said that they cannot return it because it was ran. I think that it being ran a max of 5 to 10 minutes at idle, would not subject to being denied a refund on it. I did not want to tell them that they sold me either the wrong part or defective part because I did not want to get the employee that sold it in trouble but now I can honestly say that a lot of times when I buy parts from there they are either wrong or defective, and that will be the last time I go there."

"Do not use the Chapman Hwy location as a UPS drop-off. I had an 8x8x8 box and the Advance employee refused to take it. He said they didn't have room for it. He said they only have a small space on a shelf for UPS items. I had to drive to the UPS Store by Walmart. The advantage of accepting UPS items is impressing that customer so they will return to purchase auto parts. Next time I need auto parts I won't go there."
