"Store is dirty and the staff were trying to sale credit cards. Don't buy one. It's a trap. Also the store manager is a godless woman. Literally a non-believer. Margaret( the manager) has shown racist tendencies. Beware. This store is not what it seems. Go to Springhill. Way better."
"Sad… 1/2/24– 715pm 1 person working the register while 3 other personnel in the back making fun of her while the line was backed up. Stood in line for sometime. I suspect 1 of the 3 may have been a manager."
"I've went to this Marshall's often and always been impressed with the prices and the staff. I've seen a few times where staff have went above and beyond to help customers find a certain item. The reason I'm giving one star is because there is one worker who clearly bullies and I think there should be a zero tolerance policy. There was a line of customers tonight and she turned off her light for her cash register and told the other cashier to work by herself while she put away clothes. So the one cashier was dealing with a lady that had a buggy full of returns and also a buggy full of things she wanted to purchase, on top of a huge line. The young new worker was doing her very best but this was a long transaction with a lot of items and we waited for almost 45 minutes while the manager took apart folded clothes and refolded them. Not putting up the clothes, or anything productive. It was clearly making this one cashier (who looked very new) struggle by herself. People were leaving the long line and would try to wait it out, only to come back and see the line hadn't moved and people were putting things down and leaving because of waiting. At one point the manager chastised the girl on how she was folding the clothes for the customer. I did ask the manager for her name and she was very hostile and refused, her hair covered her name tag if she was wearing one. I calmly pointed out that there was a very long line and she left the cashier to handle the big return and it would have been great if she helped out by taking care of the other customers waiting in line. She was very hostile and replied she was not allowed to cashier (although she had her light on earlier when we were in line and was checking out customers) and replied if I wanted the line to go faster I should just apply to work here. When I informed her I already have a job, she turned around and left. She has blonde long frizzy hair with bangs and was wearing camouflage pink yoga pants and a black top. I dont usually write reviews, much less bad ones but my heart breaks for this young girl so new at her job and getting bullied and taken advantage of. It's discouraging to see, and also know that this lady with the camouflage pants has also probably made manager even with the bad attitude she had. I won't be shopping here for a long time (or stop shopping there altogether) because I don't like to give my money to places that hire bullies. Even one bad apple can ruin the bunch and I wasn't impressed. I also need to commend the young cashier who was working tonight. Her hair and clothes were so nice, she smiled at the customers and was very polite. She was working very hard and efficiently to move the line as fast as possible despite being hung out to dry by the manager. I really hope she can find somewhere better to work."
"Great prices but they don’t have enough cashiers. Twice I’ve had to leave without buying my items after waiting in line for 15-20 min. There were 13 customers in line with 2 cashiers."
"Not A Critic! Just A Customer! Thumbs Down...........full prices for damaged items??????? Found a beautiful item, a long white cardigan with Aztec designs for great price however because of the length of the cardigan it clearly was damaged and it had collected alot of lint, dirt, scuffs from dragging on the floor, so I thought surely they would offer a discounted price.....however that was not the case when I got to the counter and showed the nice Associate the damage to the bottom of the white cardigan, I asked if the price could be adjusted because of the obvious damage, after showing the cardigan to the mgr/spvr ( with the obviously damaged white cardigan) I was told that the damage white cardigan would remain at its original FULL PRICE,,,,,,,,,,I was at a loss for words and still can't find them. Since when do damaged items sell for full price???????"
