"This store used to be very well organized, carried a good variety of everything. Now it is filthy, no one wants to help, items are thrown on the floor everywhere, and that Backstage or whatever that mess is upstairs looks like a Goodwill. What happened to all the nice items, the staff, the decent sales? My account will be closed in a month and good riddance because I’m taking my business to Dillards. Also, you’ve gone woke, so I refuse to support that nonsense. Toodles"
"I have always loved Macy's, drove 30+ miles to the Cool Springs store. So frustrating to find cute tops but not full range of sizes. After 5 tries of " you can order it online" and "closest store that has it is near The Villages in FL", I gave up. Next time I will save the gas, order online and return if I have to."
"I went in the Macy's store in Cool Springs Galleria shopping in Men's tailored clothing. What a HUGE disappointment. Macy's used to be a fine department store with knowledgeable help and quality products, well that day has past. I was looking for two things, one hard to find, one easy to find in most quality stores. I walked all over the men's department looking for someone to help me and it was a ghost town. I went to one of the resisters and asked a lady if someone could help me in in the men's department. She said they didn't have anyone per se, but asked the gentelman at the next register if he could answer my questions. I asked if Macy's carried a particular type of high quality slacks, he said they didn't, okay that was the tough one. Next I asked him if Macy's carried a traditional point collar dress shirt in 100% cotton? This should have been very easy, but he did not know the difference between a point collar and a spread collar, not something that may be common knowledge,, but he was working in menswear. He just told me to go read the lables, having no product knowledge of his merchandise on the floor. You guessed it, I left. When I was much younger, I worked in men's tailored clothing, and I knew the merchandise I had on the floor and could speak intelligently about it. So could everyone throughout the small chain of stores I worked in. It is the responsibility of the store to train their employees, and it is the employees responsible to continually learn to better assist customers. At this, Macy's is an EPIC FAIL!"
"Good store with every variety of clothes, personal care and house hold stuff. The backstage store has great deals and clearance items in everything. A must visit place if you are around"
