"I just want to start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE purchasing things from Free People via online. They are known for having high quality items that were worth the price that they are given. With that being said this is by far one of the worst forms of retail establishments that I have been to. The manager acts pretentious and posh- as if she is above you and you are beneath her. The employees do not offer any help with shopping or even attempt to assist you in finding a fitting room if you need one. As much as I love free people as a brand, I have made the decision to not shop in this particular store anymore."

"Visited this store, seen the cutest bellbottom outfit in the window, kinda pricey one items but did leave with cute pair of American bellbottoms. The staff was friendly."

"I ordered 200 dollars worth of stuff, the package was then delivered to someone else’s address. The guy I spoke with tried to argue with me that it was delivered to my house. It wasn’t! There’s a picture of someone elses front door with my package, it’s not my house. After demanding my money back I was told it would be 1-3 days before I got it. The money was then actually taken out of my account the following day. So 4 days after the first call I call back to be told today is actually day 1 so maybe I’ll have MY money back Wednesday but I’m not hopeful. Do not ever order from this store if they are using laser shipment to ship your items."

"No customer service at all! I walked in the store which was not busy and employees walked all around me never speaking! Management this is a poor reflection on you. I love free people but did not make purchase because of this rudeness."

"I do 90% of my shopping online. I have never had a worse or more frustrating experience that what I have been through with Free People over the past 3 weeks. I ordered 2 items from my daughters' Christmas lists on November 30th. I received an email shortly after that my order had been cancelled because they "could not reach me to verify my account information." I thought this was odd, but was actually pleased to see they were serious about security. I was informed I would receive an email within a couple of days to resolve the issue. I did not hear from them. I called customer service on December 7th and was told that she did not have access to why my order was cancelled or why my account was on hold (so I couldn't just reorder the items and deal with the glitch when they decided to eventually contact me). She said I would receive an email within 48 hours to resolve the issue. I did not hear from them. I called customer service again on December 14th and spoke to an agent as well as her supervisor....neither of which could explain why this was happening, how I could get it resolved, or how to make sure I could get the items before Christmas. They said I would have to wait to hear from them once my account was "reviewed." I FINALLY got an email from them on December 21st, which in part, said the following: "We have received your inquiry about the block on your account. After review, the restriction on your account has been removed. You are now able to place orders online or over the phone without issue, please note you were not charged for any recently cancelled orders" There was zero explanation, and zero follow-up from my request for a return phone call. I once again called them asking for an explanation and also to see if they were going to make sure, at that late date, that my items would arrive before Christmas. I was then told that the two items I had ordered were not longer available. Even the agent I spoke to on this call said she would be furious too, after what I had been through with them, but there was nothing she could do. I have never experienced this kind of ridiculousness with any other clothing company in my life. Not only is ordering with them an unpredictable move, but in my experience, there will be zero acceptable resolution for any issues through customer service. Order at your own risk."
