"The food was well made, hot and fresh. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves here and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to live it up and let loose."
"I was so excited to come The Suga Shack while visiting Memphis. They are located on the infamous Beale Street. We arrived during the hours they were serving Brunch. I chose catfish and grits. A dish I absolutely adore. I supplied two photos the dish came with tomatoes so I forgot to take the phot before I removed them. So let’s get into it. From entry the hostess was amazing. So inviting we were seated right away. Then came our waitress. The customer service from the waitress was not good. No smile, no greeting, she literally just came and looked at us. My husband asked her how she was doing. Two other parties arrived shortly after us. She brought our drinks and took their order before ours, and when she returned still no greeting. At that part I just gave up on the customer service. It did get a little better. The waitress that brought out food was great. She was different from our normal server. The chef came out and greeted everyone and asked how we were doing. That was nice. Now the food. The catfish was amazing seasoned to a tee. The grits were lukewarm and LUMPY! What??!! The dish is called fish and grits. How do you mess up the second half of the dish. Needless to say I didn’t eat the grits. I won’t come back. Nor will I recommend. Happy New Year everyone!"
