"Let me start by saying the food was amazing!!! It was hot and fresh made to order. It was not crowded maybe 2-3 table with 2 people per table. Once again the food was g great! The wait time for food was 1:14 mins exactly! A little too long for my liking with there being no crowd. And the music was extremely loud for no reason. The waitress was great and the bartender was as well. Will i go back?"
"The atmosphere was really nice. I wasn't expecting it to be so small on the inside but it was nice and intimate. The food wasn't bad but it was missing flavor. I felt like the catfish was cooked too long and the fries were missing seasoning. The southwest egg rolls were delicious! Also, just know that they charge automatic gratuity and a service charge."
"I came here for okra and a drink and I’m still here THREE hours later lol! It’s a youthful spot, truly apart of my culture and the current service is always great. I heard they are serving brunch now…if that’s your thing you might want to get ahead of the crowd! Fell in love with them via the food truck so I’m glad to know the brick and mortar is alive and well!"
"The best thing about this place was the music. We were told to sit down and our waitress would come take our order. We waited over 30 minutes before she finally came to our table. My fish was not cooked long enough. It had that fishy taste which means it needed another minute or two. When the waitress finally came to our table we were trying to find something else to eat. Also you have to pay for parking. The tables are close together. The patio was the best place to sit but they will forget about you out there. I wouldn’t bring my kid here unless it was a teenager at least 16 years old. This is a place to go if you have patience and don’t mind being forgot about. The mimosas were great I had a whole bottle of champagne! I wouldn’t go back to this place."
"Great food and decor . That’s the only good thing about this establishment. Unfortunately they have the worst service I have ever had. Was hailed as one of the best places for brunch. I do not see how. I went back to back Sunday and Monday. My experience was still the same. Waited 1 hr and 30mins to be seated for brunch. Orders were being forgotten or never put into the system on top of being short staffed . I can’t knock the food but I would only ever get the food to go. The next day same experience with my server and music was extremely too loud ."
