"We visited here for the first time for our anniversary. The atmosphere was perfect. Our meals were cooked to perfection. The highlight was the blueberry bread pudding! Great job, definitely on our will again list. THANKS!"

"Best steak I’ve had in quite a while. The waiter was delightful and we had a wonderful experience. One person got the duck, and really enjoyed it and pretty much everybody else had various steaks that were all cooked Exactly like they ordered. There are two different kinds of mashed potatoes, one garlic, and one something else be aware of that some come as sides. One thing to know while it’s not a complaint but it was the first time in my dining history that I’ve had a 20% tip added to a party of five. It was great service and I added more but I really was surprised I’ve never had an automatic tip, added for anything less than a party of eight and, I just don’t recall it being 20%. But I’m getting old. Again well worth it. Great experience just be aware."

"Char is one of my favorite places to dine. The bar area is completely separate from the dining room which I love because you can choose your setting based on the occasion. The gumbo, shrimp and grits, no filler crab cakes, the butter tasting and the blue cheese wedge are my personal favorites. A friend told me the baked chicken and crab claws were good. Also, I enjoy the cocktail menu a lot. And I cant forget about the pianist that’s plays there some evenings."

"Great food, great service, great atmosphere...overall great experience! The Elk was prepared perfectly. The asparagus was the right amount of tender yet still firm. The blueberry bread pudding was delicious. Great atmosphere for dinner though a little loud. They even have their own armed security in the parking lot. The wait staff and service were wonderful as well. Again, overall great experience."
