"THIS WAS NOT A GOOD REVIEW!!!! YET CbQ RESPONDED TO ME AS IF This WAS A GOOD REVIEW. At first, Everyone was super nice & friendly & came over to us just after we received our food to see what else we may need. (1st shift ) After we ate, decided to go back & order banana pudding to eat there, because the Lady that took our 1st order told us how good it was & it was homemade & we placed another order TO GO. Different staff from when we first came in, so I guess it was shift change. Waited 20 + minutes saw 3 other PARTIES OF NEW CUSTOMERS come in & recieve their food after I had placed our 2nd order. That was from 4:40 pm to 5pm......... Still was waiting, So i went back up to the front asked where is our 2nd order as I had asked for 1 pudding to eat there & a sandwich & another pudding to go, the girl said oh its all coming together. Ughhhh anyway, I go all the way back to the table, still No order! So I stopped the guy bringing out orders & asked if he could go find our order. He went back & found it & it was all packed up in a bag.......HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN SITTING IN THE BACK. 2 COLD BANANA PUDDINGS WITH A BBQ SANDWICH ON TOP. IM SO SICK OF BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN I went back up front the girl should have gone to find out about my order. I had given a 5 star review, but after the 2nd shift came in, we sat there waiting for 1 pudding to eat while we waited for a order to go while 3 other parties had gotten their food after I had ordered a pudding to eat in house. And we had plates on the tabled needed picking up also. No one came to table, nothing. Tried Cenral bbq in Memphis on Poplar a couple weeks ago, food was cold when we received had to go find someone to tell that & she got us food that wasnt cold & the brisket & nachos seemed fresher and warm so I guess its hit or miss with this place & depends on the time of day. We really liked the taste of the food, reason we tried it again today. It shouldn't be this hard to get it right ."

"Good and Consistent BBQ. You can’t beat their smoked turkey. Flavorful and never dry. I always get the 3 meat because BBQ breakfast leftovers are better than bacon."

"I love the coconut cake from Central BBQ, and I get it often. However, this is the worst piece of cake that I have ever bought here. It looks like it was dropped and then placed in the container. The best part of the cake was the icing. The cake didn’t have any crumble, It was dry and dense. Disappointed"

"Great ribs (wet) with just the right amount of smoke. Pulled pork was delicious, as was the sausage and cheese plate. Bit disappointed with the brisket being only a little warm. It was tender but not juicy. The pulled chicken was very dry but tender. Tasted like they split it up right off the smoker. Pork was good, but their chicken and brisket still needs work. Very friendly and helpful staff!!"

"Very enjoyable. I'm not sure how it represents this area, but there was plenty of very good food. Smoking was flavorful, meat was a bit dry but enjoyable. Being from Texas, I couldn't give 5 stars to the food, as my preference is skewed towards Texas smoked meats, but don't let this discourage you from going, it is definitely a good choice. The plate in the photo shows 1 meal (with an order of fries on the side for the wife) and it filled both of us, we took the leftovers and made sandwiches the next day and still had some leftover."
