"I used to work here so I don’t want to mess up their rating with a low star review but it’s messed up how they have this young lady at customer service. There’s multiple workers who could help her out but instead the person at the front desk is forced to leave the security post to do it. I get that it might not be your job to assist her but y'all got this lady doing refunds, pickup, checkout, and deal with customer issues by herself. On top of that, it’s EGREGIOUS that the remaining employees don’t even have the decency to hide. They’re just standing at the front of the store looking at her dilemma almost as if to say “Phew! Glad that ain’t me!” Cmon yall"
"If I could give negative 5 stars, I would. Don’t have anything installed in your vehicle at the Southaven, Mississippi Best Buy location! I had a multimedia player and a backup camera installed in my car there in January 2024. I walked in and the guy, Paul, told me to sign in two places on the invoice as soon as I got there, before he even looked at my car. About 20 minutes later, he called me to tell me that the air conditioner/heater control panel could possibly crack due to my car being over 10 years old. I went back to the installation bay, and he showed me the part that we would need to order if mine did crack. I called my husband and we agreed that we would order a new part and Paul said he would install it for us. After the 3 hour and 15-minute installation, Paul came to get me. He had moved my car out of the lighted bay and into the dark outside. He had already put the invoice in the back of my car with the empty boxes from the things he installed. I was never handed the invoice to check for accuracy. Paul showed me very basic controls on the new radio which he had set it up for Android, even though I have an iPhone. The next morning, I went out to my car and immediately noticed that Paul had broken not only the bottom part of the panel where the AC controls were, but also the top near the vents and tried to cover it up with black putty. He also hot glued pieces of the air conditioner/heater control panel area back in place. Then, I looked at the invoice that he put in the back of my car and noticed all the things he had checked and wrote after the installation. I never once acknowledged any prior cracks or prior brittleness and was not asked. Paul also check-marked accessories that he worked on that are not even on my car. The backup camera was not checked for accuracy, as it was pointed up approximately 45 degrees above the sight line. And to top it all off, there was a hole burned into the backseat of my car from, I assume, the hot glue gun."
"Review: I recently made a purchase of a Sony TV, and to say the experience has been frustrating would be an understatement. The TV malfunctioned within the initial month. I had high hopes for Best Buy's Total Tech service, especially given the substantial amount of money I've spent there over the years. Pros: The technician Best Buy sends is pleasant and tries his best to fix the issues. Cons: The TV has had repeated issues, from system board malfunctions to intermittent outages. Best Buy Total Tech service, although responsive, has been unable to provide a lasting solution. There's an exasperating policy around returns, where apparently, the product must break a specific number of times before it's considered eligible for a return. Even after meeting this criterion, I faced reluctance and an insinuation that I might be the cause of the issue. Inconsistent information provided by the customer service each time I reached out for support. Conclusion: As a long-time patron of Best Buy who's recently invested over $15,000 in appliances and entertainment gear, the service I've received on this occasion has been deeply disappointing. While I appreciate the efforts of the technician who came out multiple times, the core issue remains unsolved. It feels as though I've been left with a 'lemon' TV and have been ping-ponged around without a concrete solution. I genuinely hope that Best Buy reevaluates its after-sales service and return policies. Loyalty is earned through consistent positive experiences, and this ordeal has surely tainted my view."
"A typical Best Buy. I love to visit the Best Buy for shopping gadgets and electronics. Today I stopped by for buying an optical cable for my speakers. I got what I was looking for. The staff was nice and helpful. They helped me to find the right product quickly. I recommend the store highly."
