"Didn't eat much there, just a quick appetizer. Great little town atmosphere very polite staff."
"Me and my friend went one of our drives to nowhere and we ended up at this place in Franklin KY. This place was decorticate really well so well in fact that I thought I was under dressed to be there lol. They give everyone house bread with oil and orgraneo like most Italian restaurants but they added a twist to theirs and at the bottom they put some balsamic vinegar!! So if you want a little tang dip your bread all the way to the bottom and if you don't just do a mini dip. I ordered their turkey blt with fries and my friend did their avacado toast which looked super good!!!!. My sandwich was very good. I really like that the bread they used didn't have a hard crust. I would definitely give this place another try if I ended up that way in KY again."
"This was our first trip to the Brickyard Cafe and our first trip to Franklin, Kentucky. We selected the restaurant based on favorable reviews and a menu that looked very good. Our party of three was not disappointed. The luncheon salmon dish was excellent. It came with a side. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The red potatoes were fried in pieces that were good sized and with a light brown coating. The hot brown sandwich is one of the most popular dishes in the restaurant. It was essentially a hot turkey sandwich with a delicious sauce, tomatoes ad homemade bread. The bread was made in the restaurant. It was very fresh and had excellent flavor. The decor is unique. There is a horse drawn wagon hanging from the ceiling. There is a large bar in one room and coloring samples from local schools adorning the walls. Service was friendly, efficient and overall very good."
"Brickyard has all the makings of a great restaurant. The place looks great inside, the bar is fully stocked, and waitresses like Bridgett doing the best she can to cover what feels like the entire place with a never-ending smile. However, my 30-minute wait for my entree was excessive while watching others get their food who came in after me, and then a snafu with my meal exacerbated the issue. A quick replacement saved the day and was a good meal in the end, albeit an hour journey to get through it. Others seemed to be enjoying their meal and the crowd was steady for what I'm sure is the most upscale restaurant in Franklin."
