"There were roaches in their ice. No attempt to clean the ice machine or close it was made while we were in there, who knows after."
"When I walked in the guy at the register didn’t speak. He just looked at me. When i checked out he did the same thing. Didn’t bother to give me my price or anything. Won’t be returning to this store. Gave it 2 stars because it was organized and clean."
"Very nice owner and employees! Always my go to spot for anything i want and i never leave disappointed!!"
"I've been going to this store for like 7 years and the guys that work there are always pretty nice to me, it's a clean store and I never have a problem with anyone here. Yeah it might be higher than Kroger down the street... but not expensive, your paying for the convenience hints a convenience store. If you don't like the price go 1.5 miles down the road to kroger!"
"Okay, let's get some things out there first: 1) I am brown 2) this part of the heights is mostly young white families 3) there is a public school 5 blocks away 4) even as a grown person I look like I'm 17. Right. So I live two blocks away from this convenience store. When I run out of water or bananas - this is where I begrudgingly spend too much on these things I need. Today I walk in - greeted by one of the older gentlemen who works there regularly. Except his 'greeting' was three works: "what you buy?" After confirming what I had heard, I admittedly start going off - never have I ever been greeted into a store with the cashier asking me what I wanted with no prompting. Upon further investigation, he let me know he has seen me walk into his store three times, walk around, and walk out. EVEN IF this was something that he has watched me do FIFTEEN times, to accost a customer as they enter, accuse them of theft & THEN ask why they are mad was unbelievable to me. No apology, no retraction, he just kept asking me "what you buy?" insinuating I was not there to buy anything at all. I gave him my dollar for that dumb banana and I went home. I told him I would be back to spend money at his backwards store because this is my neighborhood, & I told him the internet would hear about their casual discrimination; but it appears they don't care at all about reviews so looks like I've wasted me time. Thanks for making me feel at home in my neighborhood Sunny Food Store."
