"March 1st. Stopped at the gate and asked if I could take a quick look at where the water was. She said, " If you park we will have to charge you". I said, "I am not going to park just a quick drive through." She said, "Ok". Well, a highly unprofessional person drove up on my tailgate all the way to the water and blocked me from turning around. Got out of hie tiny black car and started threatening me with all kinds of "fines", "trespassing", and calling park ranger. Well be careful. He is highly unprofessional."
"Me and some friends just spent two nights at this great little park. Had easy access to water. Great little camp grounds. Private. Restrooms were close. We were left alone for the whole trip. We really got just be free in the park. We were also able to get to a town nearby for food and necessities. I would definitely go back for another stay."
"I would love to keep this place a secret to try to guarantee an open spot when I visit next, but this place simply deserves the 5 stars. I found it to be immaculately clean and very well cared for. The campsites are a little close, which I was expecting. It’s run by a couple who is extremely experienced and happy to make your experience the best it possibly can. I suspect this will be my go-to getaway spot!"
"Rustic camping (no electricity or water at the sites), we knew this before arriving. We arrived late at night and got set up. The next morning we met the camp host and she was amazing, very informative and helpful."
"Very quiet at night with no traffic noise. We got to listen to the sounds of nature and even an owl in the tree above us. The water is great for swimming. Each spot comes with a picnic table, grill, and fire pit. However, I would warn campers not to reserve a spot near #21 as we were not in a very scenic area and very close to the portable toilet. Maybe go and scout it out one day before planning your camping trip."
