The memorial pays homage to the eternal message of love and humanism of Rabindranath Tagore, who in 1913 became the first non-European to win a Nobel Prize. Eternal thoughts & wisdom of Tagore, and glimpses of his many initiatives and achievements, adorn the walls of the memorial. It is called "Tagore Grove - a Place for Peace & Introspection".
