"It’s a really nice park to spend time and have fun with the family, the only problem the lights don’t turn on at night it be really dark"
"Pretty good park. Has 2 grown up swings and 2 children bucket seats. 6 basketball hoops. Has shade covering on the courts. Lots of benches. Has one grill that I know of by the basketball courts. People do bring their dogs and they’ve always been friendly to people. Plenty of open street parking"
"Okay place to walk my dog. Wish the patrons of this park would appreciate it more. Sometimes it gets so trashy, especially around basketball court. Court has 4 big empty trash cans! Instead of being grateful they have a basketball court they trash the place with plastic bottles right next to trash cans. The park should have a warning to use trash cans and not litter or the basketball goals will be removed! There is trash throughout the park! This park went through renovations and looked so nice! I can't believe people are so lazy or really don't care how they destroy it for people that like to walk in a clean park! Returned to park to walk my dog and I thought it was pretty clean until I got to basketball area and picnic area! Friendly fellow walkers but these two areas were disgusting as usual. So sad, park can't even stay clean one day! Trash cans everywhere and none were full! Update: 10/19/2021 More trash! Update 11/03/2021 I have been back here twice since my last visits. My greatest thanks to one Lone gentleman that cleans this park in the morning!! Armed with a trash picker, wide push broom and trash bags, this awesome person has been cleaning Crain Park! He takes time out of his life to clean up after the many trashy patrons who gather here!! People must be so blind to the trash they can't tell it's clean. Walkers pass right by him without a "good morning" or a "thank you for making the park nice again!" It has not been this clean for years! The city owns this kind man a thanks. I thank you Sir and will get a trash picker to help! It's not my trash, but it's OUR PARK!! This ain't your bedroom to trash! Please be considerate and throw your trash away. No one wants to see your empty Corona bottles, drinking booze is prohibited in parks!! If you don't like your Vienna sausages, we don't want to see them and all the critters they atrract!! Trash cans, it's not a new concept!!!!"
"The playground is kind old and there's not much to do if your kids are older than 6-7 years old. There is a basketball court that is covered and has lights, I think they turn off at 10 or 11, tho."
"The park has been recently renovated. They have planted new trees, added new benches, and they replaced the trail. There are two sets of playgrounds, and the swings are new as well."
