Mattie Nash-Myrtle Davis Park is a charming and historic park located at 3710 North Hampton Road in Dallas, Texas, United States. Originally built in 1963 as the North Hampton Center, the park was renamed in 1997 to honor the contributions of Mattie Nash and Myrtle Davis. Ms. Nash was a dedicated City Council member, while Ms. Davis was actively involved in the North Hampton Center Advisory Council and a lifelong member of the P.T.A. at C.F. Carr elementary school.
This park is a popular tourist attraction in West Dallas, situated on Hampton Road near Singleton. Visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities and classes offered at the facility. "This is a nice park. My son practices baseball here a few times a month. There's plenty seating available for the parents. There wasn't a lot of trash and debris scattered around. There's a basketball court and an in ground water fountains for the kids to play and cool off."
"The park and rec are separate and so is the splash park for complaints or concerns. The hours listed here are recreation center hours. Parks are open everyday from 5 am to 11 p.m. or so. The splash park has a sign with splash park info with hours of operation of it's own.(pic soon) The rec center is not in charge of how a reservation is operates. However Reservations have guidelines to follow."
