"First time here, stopped on my way home to stretch my legs. Tiny parking lot, get there early if you're wanting a spot. Beach is really rocky, but fun to roam around. Lake was mostly calm today. There is one picnic table, but I don't remember seeing any bathroom or porta potty."
"Great place stop and watch Lake Michigan… spring, summer, fall, and winter. It is an easy location to stop and watch the sunrises and sunsets. There is a small parking lot…. but most of the time there are spots open."
"My favorite chill spot. Just a quiet, beautiful place to relax and tune out for a few minutes. Maybe get some incredible sunrise pics before searching for treasures from the lake. It's so easy to get lost in all the gorgeous Lake Michigan rocks. ❤ Even when the shore is frozen, there are treasures all around. Never disappointed"
"Live in Lake County IL less than 4 miles west of the big blue but we come up here sometimes to escape the often overcrowded IL Beach State Park especially when it gets hot enough out. Nice lil beach loaded with plenty of rocks & stones for my 6 year old son to throw in the water. Whenever we end up here it's usually to kill some time before dining in at one of Keno's nearby fine restaurant choices. Always a calm & serene experience being by the lake especially with what's been happening to the world the last year and a half or so."
"Perfect beach to park by, or sit on the well maintained grass. Not a good beach to swim in my opinion because there are so many rocks and "plant life" all throughout. I think it's awesome for dogs tho."
