"Love this place. Always clean, friendly service, and great products. I especially love their laundry products."
"I recently had an unfortunate experience at Buff City Soap in Arnold, MO, which compelled me to share my disappointment. The visit, marked by a series of issues, left me frustrated and dissatisfied. Upon arriving at the store, I encountered a delay as the store manager was late to open. Despite the inconvenience, I proceeded with my purchase, only to realize that a promotion had not been applied correctly so I wanted to return several items I had gotten to meet the promo minimum. When I voiced this to the cashier, I was informed that only the manager could address the issue. In an attempt to expedite the process and be considerate of the growing line, I offered to step aside momentarily. Regrettably, my gesture was ignored, and I was left waiting for over 20 minutes while the manager attended to other customers who arrived after me. The manager's attitude during the return process was disheartening. She appeared visibly annoyed and expressed her displeasure at having to process the return. When I raised my concerns about the extended wait time, her rudeness escalated, creating a tense atmosphere. To add to the frustration, my "free soap for a year" promotion, which was linked to my rewards account, was not honored due to the manager voiding my initial transaction. Despite my efforts to address the issue calmly, the manager's response was dismissive, and she insisted I accept a second bar of soap instead of giving my the one I ended up paying for for free with my promo. I was not happy about this because I paid $9 for a bar of soap that should have been free with any purchase. This experience has left me questioning the level of customer service and professionalism at Buff City Soap in Arnold, MO. I hope my feedback serves as a constructive reminder of the importance of timely and respectful customer interactions."
"Great place for all sorts of ways to moisturize, smell good, make your skin feeling soft! Oh yea, don't forget about your clothes and bedding. Pick your favorite scent and match your laundry to it."
"I have been wanting to check this place out for a while now. I stopped a few weekends ago with my kids and the two ladies working were very nice (and were kind to my crazy boys lol). They had a sale so we ended up going for bath bombs and bar soaps. I read some not so great reviews on the bombs saying they are too oily and leave stains in the tub. First off, they do have oil in them, but my kids are crazy, and they didn’t slip in the tub or anything. The feeling kind of reminds me of the true blue spa margarita body scrub I used years ago. Your skin feels overly soft. Both of my boys said they felt nice and soft.. not sticky or slimy. I would just recommend you don’t use the bath bomb water to wash the kiddos hair. We have a removable shower head so when they were done they stood up and I sprayed their hair and washed it and sprayed them off a bit too to get any excess oil or crumbles from the bomb. Worked out just fine, just a tad more effort than something like dabomb bombs. It did leave a few crumbles in the tub so, it doesn’t seem to 100% dissolve, which is a tad odd as most bombs do. I wouldn’t say all of them stained the tub… it depends on the color. Stay away from the darker ones. The coconut you literally had to scrub the tub after it made black/dark brown stains that wouldn’t come off with spraying the tub out with the removable shower head. I do wish it dissolved 100% and maybe added a bit more color to the water at least on kids scented bombs. The scent was very nice and you could smell it if you walked down the hallway past the bathroom even after they were done. Their skin also smelled nice after the bar soap. I recommend if you buy the bar soaps you buy the mesh loofah bag with them. Lathers nicely and a good place to store/hang the bars when not in use. The bars seem like they will last a long time."
