"Awesome location to run, walk, or bike the trail along the lake. You can paddle board and kayak also (haven't done it yet) Lots of trees for shade on a sunny day and don't forget to bring your furry friends! Parking can be a little tricky on the weekends but if you get there early enough, you'll be fine."
"There's nothing more chilling and relaxing than emerging yourself in the lake located in the heart of downtown Austin! The lake has two end: one could be full of activities next to all the skyscrapers in downtown, one is very peaceful with quiet nature, whatever could fit it your mood. I definitely recommend for tourists who want to explore the soul of the young and dynamic city!"
"We rode bikes around the lake during Spring Break 2023. It was fun and relaxing. I recommend parking on Congress (Bat Bridge) also near the Austin American Statesmen. This location has bike rentals on the corner plus the path is very close nearby."
"Beautiful lake to spend outdoor activities from kayaking, jogging, and running. Lake Austin is just on west downtown. Lady Bird Lake is one of the gems of Austin and it's of course free to visit. Had a privilege to capture these moments on the lake."
"The park is huge there are several boat rental vendors along the bank in every direction if you get there too late they will be booked though start early I like the naturalness of the park I didn't see a playground the park at some spots smelled like sewage and several parts had litter, no dog poop garbage bags or at least signs to remind pet owners. Overall the park relaxing place in the city"
