Reviews
"Small park surrounding an artificial lake, intended to be a self-guided outdoors education center for children. When initially constructed it was far less overgrown and had more functional water features but in recent years it has fallen into a partial state of disrepair. Still, the grass is mowed, and it is a nice place to find birds, fish, and other wildlife passing through or as permanent residents. As a word of warning, there should be at least one alligator in the lake so be aware of your surroundings when walking around."
"This doesn't even feel like you are in TX, especially in the middle of a neighborhood. It feels like a nature preserve in the middle of Florida. It is small, but there is ton of wildlife. They have it really well maintained with paths. One of the nicest hidden gems in Sugar Land."
"Short little walk but lots of nature in a small area"
"Beautiful park with many friendly visitors and great biodiversity. Lots of fun watching nutria and egrets. A very small local park but definitely worth a visit. My photos tell more."
"This is an excellent park for people of all ages. There are 9 parking spots plus a handicap parking spot. Some paved trails and some grass trails, a creek, many educational information displays, lakes, lilly ponds, and many more attractions. I haven't mentioned everything, so you can find your own surprise. Certainly recommend a visit. You can easily spend 30 minutes there."
