"Rather recently opened park with plenty of parking and basic facilities for young kids to play. The swings could get too hot in the summer since they are not under the 'tent'. Clean and well maintained (fallen leaves don't count)."
"Great park with splash pad! Has a walking trail! .25 mile lap!"
"A new splash park for the kids. It has been extremely hot, and the kids love it. I'm not sure if workers are cleaning the sitting areas. There were kids' chalk writing on the table and bench sitting. Wasted food and empty water bottles and popsicle sticks on the ground. The ants were everywhere. A grown adult man sitting on a swing and then moving to the playhouse to sit on the phone. Kids were unable to get on the swing and go in the playhouse. Grown people don't get on the children activity items."
"The park is brand new and a splash pad is big and fun! It's not open on Mondays. Other days it opens at 10:00 a.m. the playground part is shaded which is great for the summer. And there's shaded picnic tables right next to the splash pad. We love this park!"
"Splash Pad - Kids really love the splash pad. It has a big tub that fills up and is released all at once, and it’s very popular with the kids. It tends to get full but there’s usually plenty of space. Pro tip - adults bring your own lawn chairs just in case there’s not a lot of places to sit down. The water needs to be turned on by the play button. When the park is about to close, the water no longer works even when the button is pressed. Hours - Dawn to Dusk, so hours will vary depending on the season. Playground - a large portion of the playground is shaded with those new type shades. There is one playground for smaller kids (ages 2-5) and two larger playgrounds for bigger kids (ages 5-12). The floor is that new synthetic spongy type so very nice on the kiddos’ feet and in case of a small fall. Playground has: - Swings - Slides - Rope Web - Monkey bars Pavilion - Covered pavilion available with about 10 picnic tables. Benches - About 5 available and a long concrete retaining wall to sit down is available but the sun hits it in the afternoon. Turf area - small turf area available but will tend to fill up with boys playing soccer. Water fountains available. Walking - Walking trail is about 1/2 mile. People bring their dogs here too. Minimally lit close to dusk due to the park being technically closed at dusk."
