"Daughter had a cross country competition here on Oct 14th. Nice park. Lots of things for the kids to do. Also a lot of trees for shade or to set up chairs and chill. We enjoyed it."
"Pretty nice park for a dog walk or try to catch some bird photos. Won't be much useful in the hot summer months as the park has very little shaded areas. It is not too far from Houston and probably not known much except the locals. Those were taken early morning in Aug, by 8AM it was already too hot."
"Huge park with nearly unlimited parking, cricket fiels, softball fields, 2 dog parks, jungle gym for the kids, nice clean restrooms, fishing, bird watching, and about 5 miles or more of hiking if you do all of the loops. If you plan on hiking bring your water and sunscreen and be very mindful of the rotten wood on the decks and bridges!!! Definitely worth seeing!!"
