"Spectacular park. I love enjoying the natural and this place brings me peace, and the natural aromas are great."
"Anther great hike. Getting to see the dinosaur tracks is a really cool bonus."
"Really enjoying the area and we have come across so many fantastic people from rangers, to master naturalists. Constant learning and my son is absorbing it all. Great place for families to visit. Lots of trails and they’re always having some kind of activity or guided hike"
"Wonderful hike on mostly shaded trail. 2.6 miles from the trail head for a 5.2 mile round trip. Wear good shoes as the trail varies from loose rocks to soft terrain. Mostly flat. Not stroller friendly. Bring plenty of water. Easy to navigate. Just keep following Joe Johnston Trail."
"The Park has a nice well maintained entrance. As casual out of shape walkers we did the hike to the tracks and circled around the overlook spot. The whole trip took about 4 hours with a bit of rest. The trail to the tracks is moderately rocky and uneven. Some small hills but mostly flat. Many people brought hiking staffs. One water pouch backpack for two people lasted us until we reached the tracks, then we had to conserve and turn back. I recommend bringing one water backpack per person."
