"What exactly does closed for the season mean? Fishing is a 12 month a year season. Some of the best fishing is through fall and winter. If the city is too cheap and too lazy to take care of it then give the park to TPWD. At least the care enough about the resources and the people to leave their parks open year round."

"While there is not much else to do in this park, it is still always an enjoyable visit. We walk down there often and enjoy the view and some good exercise."

"Caught a 5lb bass off the bank at this park! Awesome place for families and good place to bring your dogs. Boat ramp isn't too bad either, but the water is a little muddy sometimes and there's a lot of trees underwater so I recommend only experienced boaters put in at this one. Love this area though!"

"My family and i was trying to get here around 7 this evening and just got lead to a closed dirt road. Google shows it's open till 10. I put the address in my waz app so and got lead to no where. I'm not sure if it's Google or waz but one of them is smoking crack with the Democrats."

"Good for catfish but not good for anything else from the shore, the water's edge is about 8 feet lower than where you can stand. Has boat ramp which is good for boating. Was somewhat clean but not much shade towards the water. Also the 10 dollar entrance fee is a little high for the size of the park."
