"First time as a parent. I gave it 4 stars because my children are into playing catch and fishing. This park fulfills both of my kids interests with a long field to play catch and water filled with fish."

"Great place for a picnic and / or fishing. Picnic tables under a roof for the shade. Fun and nice jungle gym for the kids to play. Wonderful place to walk your pet. Portable bathrooms on the parkinglot. Limited parking."

"It's a nice little park that is well kept. It has a nice playground and tables to eat. There is a covered area with a grill. There are pathways by the water that are mulched for all the people fishing. There were lots of people out fishing, which was nice to see. I'd like to take my kayak back and look around more."

"The entrance is near a busy part of town and sparsely populated most days. A nice mulch trail around the peninsula yields several fishing spots. The picnic shelter and playground are nice features so long as frequenters keep them that way. Please keep our parks clean and report vandalism."

"Pederson Park is a nice little park for any time of the year. This municipal park has a picnic shelter that can be reserved. The park is also bordered by water on two sides and you can find people fishing at any time of the year, from regular casting fishing to ice fishing in the winter. In the center of the park is a soccer field that is used by kids and adults alike. My dog and I love to trek along the perimeter of the park from time to time. Lastly, the sunsets are spectacular from here."
