"Me and my family make it a point to come here with our dog as often as we can! This is a very family friendly walking area. Perfect for picnics or just a chill day by the water. There are sections with plenty of shade and nice grassy areas with picnic tables and trash cans. The people here seem to be friendly and safe."

"6 mile trip around the Marine Creek Lake. Wide paths, well kept and clean. You'll see walkers, joggers and bikers, some with pets. There is a fitness area over by the TCJC campus that seems to be in pretty good shape. Plenty of opportunities for photos of cranes, loons, coots, ducks, squirrels and rabbits. I haven't seen snakes yet, but I'm sure they will come out when it gets warmer. Lots of areas for off the bank fishing. Some of the areas are trimmed and neat, others are pretty rough, but if you're fishing, it shouldn't matter. Parking is limited to the two boat ramp areas. They aren't large, but they seem to handle the various groups of trail users pretty well. This is not a challenging trail, but it is great for getting in your steps."
