"Nice trail that seems never ending which is a good thing. We definitely got some exercise. Beautiful trees and the birds were amazing. Watch out for bikes."
"Great gem of Fort Worth. Lots of wildlife and plant diversity. I posted a couple of photos of the long lost Memorial Oak."
"Fantastic trail! This is one of the best waking trails with views of the trinity and plenty of foliage. You can't take this trail all the way to Belair. There is paved walking path as well as lines for traffic flow. There are some smaller paths to walk near the river and a couple bridges to hang out on."
"The trails were very clean, lots of bench throughout, and quite a few trash cans available as well. About 75% shaded, which is great! Even on a perfect day, really not too busy. Honestly, my only reason for the 4 stars is while dogs are allowed, I wouldn't say these are the best trails for dogs. The trail is fully paved, which is a plus or minus for some people. It had a lot of people biking. Constantly we would have to pull the dog close to allow bikes through since there aren't really many places to step off the path with a dog. Some people were super nice on bikes and let us know they were behind before passing through, but others would just zip on past, no warning, no bell, nothing. So great trails for shade, waterfall view, kids/strollers, bikers, but I wouldn't really say the trails are great for dogs unless you have a dog that stays in a very close heel the entire time (boring)."
"We really enjoyed ourselves, lot to explore and the scenery was great. Excellent walk! Maybe one day we will bring our bikes. We will be regulars!"
