"What can I say; your in a state park right in the city limits of El Paso TX. Yet it feels like being hundreds of miles away from from civilization. This particular area does get busy on weekends and holidays, but there is many great picnic areas with great views and with plenty of space between them so you never feel like your crowded. There is "no flush" toilets nearby with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, and sanitizer. There is one trailhead nearby called Schafers shuffle. Its about a 4 mile loop across beautiful rugged terrain with awesome views of the city around the park and other parts of the mountain. Take plenty of water!"
