"Becareful when testing your pool water here,Tyler the manager (the old guy) changes the results in the test by adding other liquid chemicals into the testing machine to give you false readings just so you can buy a bunch of chemicals from the store…apparently he gets a commission based on sales and so he boosts sales by tricking customers."
"So disappointed with Leslie’s. Went to test my pool water, and they gave me the “steps needed” to improve my water quality. Bought all the items needed and followed the process. Went back the next day to re-test and they told me I needed another set of products. By the third day, I still wasn’t seeing improvement. Went back to retest and there was a different staff member who told me I should’ve been told to empty out my pool and refill with fresh water. Greatly upset that the staff member had me buy a load of unnecessary products knowing I didn’t need nor would help solve my water issue. While in the past they had been great these last few visits have been a HUGE disappointment and I definitely feel tricked into buying more and more products."
"the sand filter and pump is 75D, sold by leslie and made by GAME. THE COLLAR NEVER SEALS. The plastic MANIFOLD was expanded and broken, the pump store in my basement only 3 month for winter never works again, and y bought the product just 10 month ago. Leslie pool product have warranties, but they told me i have to pay $180.00 for the inspection and if the product is damaged i have to pay plus delivery. The same pump cost on amazon $175.00 and free delivery. Really bad customer service. Also i've contact the brand GAME, they discontinued the 75D. I left a message to an automatic answer machine, that never answer! Game and Leslie are twins in this situation."
"Never received refund owed to me. Store rarely opens on time. Staff is not educated on products, and offer poor advice on how to maintain pools. Products are overpriced. Great escape is a much better option."
"This is more so of a review about Leslie’s customer service and corporate side. I had to buy a new safety pool cover for my inground pool. The reason I’m giving two stars is because the price compared to other stores around was great. But that’s the only thing I can say was great about my experience. I usually don’t write reviews, but this was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve went through with a business. Between talking to the store employees and the 1-800 number on the corporate end, it was awful. It was like playing tag and pointing fingers. I’d call the store and they would say to the corporate because they handle installation and measurements. Then I would call corporate and they would say call the store, they handle it. All I wanted was for a professional to come out, measure my pool and confirm what size pool cover I needed and drill anchor holes if it was needed. All of these things I was told is able to be done by their services if I wanted. Numerous times I called corporate to schedule someone to come out and confirm a measurement. It was never accomplished and every time I was told I’d be called back, it did not happen. So I bit the bullet and measured it myself and ordered a cover. (Great pricing and warranty included) Then I’d call throughout the next two weeks about getting the company to come measure the anchors and straps to make sure it’ll fit. I was told I’d get called back and the person who handles that was not working. I must have called 4 or 5 times for that alone, never got a response and it’s been weeks. Luckily, the person I have close my pool was about to drill into the cement and put new anchors so my new pool cover would fit. This should have done by you, Leslie’s. Unfortunately it was not and I’ve never received a call back in any regards and no help at all. Sorry for the long review, but I won’t ever do business with this company again. Thanks for the time"
