"We are so grateful for Rex’s place, they took in our Otis for boarding multiple times when other companies wouldn’t due to his medication needs. Wish we found them sooner. Today we laid to rest our Otis and he enjoyed going to doggie daycare every time. Thank you so much."
"My dog LOVES this place as far as I can tell. You have to learn the ways of doggie day care, how to drop off and pick up properly and all, while everyone's been super nice and Tilly goes zonkers happy when we drive up. Happily exhausted when she gets home. I'm just thrilled to get one day off puppydom a week! Tillys a 70lb, 6mth old puppy...yea, we like doggie day care."
"If I could give this place 10 stars I would. My puppy is absolutely everything to me. Think John wick and his pup. I’m absolutely shocked at the level of care/love/professionalism of this establishment. 10/10 would recommend."
"My dog Bama is LOVING Rex's Place. Bama is a 5-year-old 30-lb dog who thinks she's a really big dog and I know for a fact that she doesn't do well in daycares that put her in a small dog room. The last place Bama went to for daycare did put her in the small dog room despite my request and warning, and she was kicked out for being aggressive. I was really impressed by the intake form that Rex's Place has and was very honest in it about our past experience. I was concerned they wouldn't want to take Bama in but they didn't bat an eyelash. They have her in the big dog room and always tell me what a good dog she is. It is very clear that they treat each dog as an individual with their own personalities and quirks. AND she comes home tired and happy. Photographic proof attached (she's the one in the middle)."
"I boarded my healthy 14 month old Newfoundland and my husky at Rex's Place in Evanston over the weekend. When I picked my dogs up they were both injured. My newfie was and continues to limp, barely able to walk, and was also returned to me covered in urine. Her white spots on her fur were discolored and smell of urine. My husky has a big cut under his eye that wasn't there when I dropped him off and he is barely able to open his eye. I have attempted to contact the owner repeatedly and she continues to ignore me. My dogs will see our vet today regarding these injuries. I wanted you all to be informed of the injuries my dogs sustained after being boarded at Rex's Place so you can make an informed decision about using this facility. If I could add videos of her limping I would UPDATE: After 3 days, the owner finally returned my calls. She had no resolution to this very obvious issue, and refused to show me the footage of the kennels. Her only solution was "just don't join us anymore"."
