"Had an insurance situation where my flooring was flooded from a downstairs toilet. Steamatic replaced it and repaired the dry wall. They did an amazing job on my flooring. The project manager was very easy and cool to work with. He even taught me how to do dry wall and floor boards. The company itself has fantastic customer service. The ladies were very friendly to talk to, and gave suggestions on pricing. They are much cheaper than most companies I have seen and worked with. I definitely recommend them."
"On behalf of James Wayne Properties, Inc, we STRONGLY recommend Steamatic. Hurricane Harvey reaped havoc on one of our Dollar General buildings last year. I was put through to the owner of Steamatic, and right away their company got started on drying out our building. They had a crew for every single thing we needed. They did the dry out, they did asbestos and mold removal, they did the new drywall, they laid brand new flooring, the electrical, etc. Their electrician, Tony, was a hoot! We really enjoyed having him and his crews there. They were incredibly professional and QUICK! The supervisor we dealt with, Terry, was a wonderful man. He always kept us informed. Whatever we needed, he took care of. I look forward to working with them again in the future. We definitely give Steamatic 5 stars!!"
"SCM went above and beyond for us!!! Waking up to my house being flooded wasn’t the best experience but Steamatic’s came in and put my mind right at ease.... From start to finish they did my whole downstairs in less than 3 weeks!!! That includes drywall, baseboards, painting the whole house, carpet, wood floors...ect.. Terry Thomas’s communication was outstanding..He communicated everything that was going on each day and stayed right on schedule... When I walked back into my home everything was clean, put back in place and they even hung my wall decor back up... I would highly recommend them for your home! There work is amazing and my house looks brand new!!!! I am so happy that this is the company I chose to trust!"
"I definitely would NOT recommend them, save yourself the time and the stress! I recently received my items after a disastrous fire that left smoke damage on all my furniture, dishes, bathroom items, etc and the customer service and professionalism I've received from them was highly lacking. Yes, they held our stuff for a year and only charged 3 months but we paid $11,000 for them to have lost or thrown away items without telling us. Plus when I received my items they were still BLACK with soot and the owner tried calling this "dirt from storage". Major difference between soot and dirt. Storage for a year would have been $3,000 and would have been way cheaper for the same service. After wiping down and cleaning my own items now that I have them returned it saddens me to think I was charged for bookcases they broke, tables they broke or lost, all the furniture they didn't clean, items they lost and charged me for. They charge by box and be sure to check them because I've had 1 item in a box where they charge $50 for no cleaning. It's been over a week now and I'm STILL trying to get in contact with them to locate my missing items. The customer service is pitiful and I was in shock to hear the owner David yell (literally) at my mother and hang up on her when she was trying to locate our missing items. To top this off, I received another customers' paperwork including healthcare documents, checks, bank statements mixed in one of my boxes. They didn't seem worried at all. I had high hopes for them after reading online reviews but my experience was the WORST anyone can imagine. Keep your identity safe and your life stress free by not using them!!"
"I appreciate the outstanding customer service that Steamatic of San Antonio staff provided to me this week. After a long trip, I arrived to my house to find out that my walk-in closet was flooded. I called for a help and your team arrived within hour as it was promised. They cleaned everything and for next 3 days made sure that all moisture were gone from every wall. I am highly pleased with the professional manner in which Steamatic team worked on the problem. The employees I interacted with, especially David, Courtney and Israel, were very knowledgeable about any kind of flood topic and seemed genuinely interested in resolving my problem rather than just being focused on making a quick sale. A great team that makes customers feel respected and valued and have definitely gained a new customer who will refer all of her friends to Steamatic of San Antonio."
