"I would not recommend Lane Baker for any construction work. He presents himself a nice guy with 30+ years of experience which he does not have. He and his father Shane both recognized their terrible work and their excuse was "that's what you get when you hire them"; And he wasn't even the lowest bidder for the project. The job was done so poorly that other contractors that I brought out to fix the building, wouldn't touch it. The building had to be torn down and completely rebuilt. If you are considering him, expect to pay double the price, get half the quality he promises, take twice as long as agreed, and for him to not hold up to his end of the written agreement."

"I struggled to post this but I think it’s important for others to be aware of. We hired L3 Services (Lane Baker) for a patio project. There were hitches along the way but we muddled through them. I was never 100% happy with his work but we gave him grace. Fast forward past two payments made to him per the contract he made, totaling 18,000. The last payment due at completion. He asked for the final payment to which we said no because the job was not completed. He left the project and our yard a mess. Now we have received two notice from a company who funded his project threatening a lien on our property. I spoke to the company today and it’s definitely a real thing. He has defaulted on them, in turn they will place a mechanics lien on our property if not paid. I just want people to be aware and know who you are hiring. Also apparently had he notified us that he borrowed from this company we could have signed a waiver. Yes we spoke to him, yes he is aware. Feel free to email with any questions.
