"Looking for colored plaster? Here's my experience to help you make an educated decision. This is my review of QuartzScapes Midnight Blue. I hired a local pool company to replaster our pool, we wanted to try color, and were told it would look great. This had issues from that start with splotches, streaks, and just not the best looking results. After trying a few times to get this right (drain the pool, wash), we were told that some splotching is normal, and that it depends on your water. On a sunny day this looks ok; but when the sun is not shinning, or at night when you put the pool light on, this product lights up all the imperfections. Pool guys say some splotching is normal, the manufacture came out with them (while I wasn't here) and said the water tested high for metals. Maybe the pool guys did the initial mix wrong, I really don't know. Maybe this is normal for color plaster, and QuartzScape. If so, I wish I would have seen a honest review before making my decision to go with this product. Maybe I would have still gone with color, or maybe not, but at least my expectations would have been properly set. I've attached some pictures, since the proof really is in what you see. Remember the reason most people want color is for the aesthetics in the look, having splotches and streaks isn't aesthetically pleasing!"
